Developing Technologies in D&T

Our European Project project, which can be accessed at www.eu-create.com, uses new technologies, and is about remote control via the internet.

CAD (Computer Aided Design) is to be introduced through a very powerful professional programme called 'Pro Desktop'

CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture) will be experienced by all pupils via a new CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) milling machine, which will be commissioned in the workshops towards the end of May 2001.

We hope to introduce Video conferencing as a link with a local company to aid our understanding of enhanced industrial manufacturing techniques.
