DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE

The session is split into three areas.

2    Working with ‘Crocodile Clips’ CAD (Computer Aided Design) programme. ( approx. 30 mins. )                                                 Guidance for this is on the Yr7 link on the front page of the D&T web site.

3    Project using ‘Crocodile Clips’. ( approx. 60 mins. )     This will be in the form of a competition.

‘Crocodile Clips’ is a very powerful programme for designing and testing electronic circuit designs. It can be found in the Design & Technology area after logging onto the school network.

If you find that you have time to spare, then try this below -

        Investigate Rube Goldberg and produce an idea of your own.
                 1    Choose a favourite cartoon.
                 2    Copy into 'Word'
                 3    Describe an improvement or addition you could make to create a more interesting invention.
