Coin Saver Design Challenge Situation A National Bank has joined forces with a famous breakfast cereal producer with an aim to encourage young people to save money. Brief Design and manufacture a prototype of a self assembly coin saver kit in the form of a graphics cut-out which can be printed on the back of the largest cereal packet on sale. Design Requirements (Basic Version) The kit must be made in a way that it can be assembled without requiring special tools or equipment. All parts, and instructions for assembly, must be included. No adhesive to be used in the construction of the saver. The finished device must store £5 in 10p coins. The person storing the coins must be able to easily measure the contents to the nearest 50p. The overall project, including the testing and evaluation, must be completed by the end of term. Design Requirements (Extended version) pupils' work should also include: a) a user test report; b) a product in which an interesting action is triggered at some point. c) a work plan for producing and packaging a batch of at least six kits
