Year 7
Set work for Friday 28th Feb 2003.
On a sheet of A3 paper, and using your best drawing techniques, produce a design to satisfy the following brief - Many people keep dogs, some live in flats, and some are very lazy when it comes to exercising their pet. You are to design a 'machine' which could be used to exercise their animals without the owner exerting much effort! This can be as wacky as you like, or as sensible as you can imagine it. Add careful notes to explain how it will work. Use colour. Put your name and title at the top of the paper. (Hand it in at the end of the lesson). Neatness, and good presentation, are of the greatest importance. If you have time, and access to the computers, follow the link below and have a look at the work of 'Rube Goldberg'. Can you think of anything similar that you could do? G. P. Sagar.
